Using a spiros output catalogue in input
(source_res.fits to source_cat.fits)
One of the spiros outputs is a catalogue (source_res.fits) containing
source positions and fluxes. After a spiros run you may want to fix
the positions of some of the detected sources, and run spiros again
(see Sect.
), and for that you need to turn an output
catalogue(source_res.fits) into an input one (source_cat.fits). Their
structures are very similar, therefore, only two keywords and possibly
the SEL_FLAG need to be changed as follow
- open the spiros output catalogue with fv
- click on 'Table' of SPI.-SRCL-RES
- check that the column SEL_FLAG is 1
for all sources you want to fix in your analysis (source with
SEL_FLAG = 0 will be ignored)
- click on 'Header' of SPI.-SRCL-RES
- change EXTNAME to 'SPI.-SRCL-CAT'
- change ISDCLEVL to 'CAT_I'
- save the changes (Alt+S)
