1. Introduction
   ============

   This is the release note for the test data set version 10.2.

   The aim of this test data set is to verify the correct installation of
   the Off-line Scientific Analysis (OSA) software version 10.2 and the
   corresponding IC files and reference catalogues. Please refer to the
   detailed instructions in the OSA Installation Guide to install this
   package and use it to check your OSA installation.

   All the test data are observations of the bright Crab Nebula. They
   consist of 2 science windows (pointings) from spacecraft revolution 102
   for the INTEGRAL instruments IBIS/ISGRI, JEM-X and OMC. For the SPI
   instrument we provide an extended test data set of 10 science windows,
   whereas for IBIS/PICsIT we use 5 science windows from revolution 39.

   Besides the test data themselves, the package also includes reference 
   results for the five instruments. This allows you to compare your test 
   run results with these reference results. Minor differences can be
   expected depending on the used platform.

   There are no system dependencies in this test data.

3. System requirements
   ===================
    
   There are no system requirements for this test data beyond 5 GB
   or so of disk space.

4. Changes since last major release
   ================================

   The reference output data are recreated with the updated software of
   OSA 10.2.
